  • The current "health care reform" measure is nothing but a mandate that everyone has to shell out for a high dollar insurance plan. It does nothing to address the actual health care costs because insurance is what messed it all up to begin with.

• If you don't choose to pay extra to sign up for "concierge" or "boutique" medical care, should you still get the same access to your doctor's time and attention?

  • My husband is a doctor. We have a 4 yr old Honda and a Pontiac bought at a close out sale. He works 6 days a week and doesn't play golf anymore -- can't afford to take the time off.

  • "Federal employees" does not apply to members of the Senate or House of Representatives. They will contine with their free forever top of the line health care while the rest of us wait in line for our 4 minute visit.

  • I work for an MD that takes no insurance -- not concierge, just payment at the time of service. With less overhead, and getting paid on time, our overhead is lower and therefore we can charge less. The doctors aren't the bad guys, it's the insurance companies that have driven up costs.

  • And they should be able to use medications like Nuvigil. NASA, Air Force and RAF all use Provigil and Nuvigil.
